Dave was the Chief Operations Director for a small consulting firm (2015 – 2018) following a 34-year career at The Dow Chemical Company. During his Dow career, Dave worked in various roles within manufacturing, technology expertise centers, and environmental operations. He is experienced in managing manufacturing processes, capital projects, research programs, and technical professionals globally. During his time as a consultant, his field and office staff worked incident free under his direction.

Within Manufacturing and Environmental Operations, Dave has experience with driving EH&S issues to zero, while improving product quality and transforming operations for new products. Dave has led root cause analyses for a variety of EH&S issues and has 26 sigma certifications. Dave has not only advised and negotiated globally in a variety of regulatory environments, he has audited numerous plant operations throughout the world for the past 25 years.

In addition to his management expertise, Dave has technical expertise in the areas of wastewater treatment, soil and groundwater remediation, deep well injection, and persistent chemicals (such as dioxin, PCBs, and PFAS).  He has advised people globally in these areas for over 20 years, as he has been called on as an expert witness.

Dave is a graduate of Michigan State University, with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He resides in Michigan with his family.
