Jeffrey “Jeb” Miller, Pilko Advisor, has over 34 years’ experience in the chemical industry.  Jeb is currently an Advisor with Pilko while also serving as President of a non-profit Care for Nigeria Inc. that he founded in 2020.

Jeb was Global EHS&S Director at Axalta Coating Systems for two years, where he developed and drove global strategy for Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Sustainability for the global corporation (approx. 120 global sites). Previous to that, he worked at E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, holding the title of Global Supplier Quality and Improvement Engineering Leader accountable for capital projects in support of raw materials and supplier development. Jeb also held the position of Global Director, Materials and Supplier Management, while working at DowDuPont and Senior R&D Manager, Process Engineering Research, while working at Dow Chemical after their acquisition of Rohm and Haas Company in 2009.

At Rohm and Haas, Jeb served as CMP Product and Process Development Manager, CMP Technology Operations Manager, and Manufacturing & Product Development Manager, all under the legal entity of Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials CMP Inc. He also filled the roles:  Manufacturing & Supply Chain Manager, at Rohm and Haas Company in Louisville, Kentucky and European Region Manufacturing Technology Manager, and Production and Supply Chain Manager in France. Earlier, he served as Senior Chemical Process & EHS Design and Startup Engineer in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

Jeb completed an Executive MBA with strategy focus from Vanderbilt University – Owen Graduate School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.

Jeb is fluent in French working six years in France, working knowledge of Spanish and German, diverse international people and leadership experience in research, manufacturing, and supply chain, using various tools including SAP, database systems, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, LEAN, 5S, QRA, Safety Instrumented Systems, and advanced process control.

Jeb and his wife Kathy live in Pennsylvania and are parents to four grown children.
