Kyle Shelton recently retired from Olin Corporation, where he served as the Texas Operations Site Leader, responsible for 18 manufacturing facilities and 1,000 direct employees. He has extensive experience in operations, process technology, reliability, and instrumentation. He led the commissioning, start-up and ongoing operation of a newly constructed chlorine facility, and Vice President, Olin Process Technology for Chlor-Alkali, Epoxy and Chlorinated Organics prior to his final role with Olin.
Previous to Olin, Kyle filled several roles at Dow Chemical such as Production Leader – TX CA Chlorine 7; Dow-Mitsui Chlor-Alkali LLC Director of Manufacturing, Texas; Chlor-Vinyl EH&S Business Operations Leader; Production Leader – TX CA Chlorine 5; Operations Leader – Chlorine Production; Sr. Reliability Specialist – Chlor/Alkali (CA) Maintenance; Instrument Specialist – Instrument Services; and Senior Instrument Engineer – Instrument Services. At his most recent role at Dow, Kyle was responsible to ensure the objectives of DMCA were communicated to the operations team and these objectives were carried out in the daily operations and targets of the facility. He was also responsible to ensure that Chlorine 7’s operation was fully integrated into Dow’s Texas Operations manufacturing site, among other responsibilities.
Kyle received his Bachelors and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. He is based in Texas.
