Proven leadership across Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, including global manufacturing leadership, regional engineering & maintenance oversight, and site director roles in both the UK and the United States.  Deep experience leading global manufacturing networks, regional engineering & maintenance organizations, and large-scale industrial sites, with direct oversight of $300M+ annual spend and 1,500+ personnel.

Recognized for strong capability in operational due diligence, manufacturing performance assessment, reliability improvement, turnaround effectiveness, and post-merger integration.

Served as Board Director for the Dow–BASF HPPO joint venture, contributing to governance, strategic oversight, and performance alignment.

LLuis is recognized for expertise in Operational risk and industrial safety oversight; Capital investment governance; Asset strategy and lifecycle management; and Post-merger integration and organizational transformation.  He has an engineering background with a deep technical foundation in maintenance, reliability, and large-scale industrial operations.

LLuis lives in Cambrils, Tarragona, about 60 miles south of Barcelona. He is married with two daughters working in the Barcelona area. LLuis and his wife enjoy traveling, family, friends and, very recently, their new grandchild.
