Mary Monahan
Director, Marketing
Mary has over 25 years of experience specializing in community engagement, project management, planning and implementation of fundraising strategy, marketing, graphic design, communications, and PR.
As Marketing Director, Mary works to execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote Pilko’s products or services. Mary’s blend of creative, organizational, and analytical skills ensures the successful implementation of marketing initiatives. Working closely with the SVP of Business Development and Marketing and the Chairman, she coordinates various aspects of marketing campaigns and contributes to achieving the company’s marketing objectives.
Before joining the Pilko team, she was the Communications & Community Relations Manager at South Florida’s prestigious Broward Center for the Performing Arts, responsible for overseeing institutional communications and PR, charitable giving, program management, accessible performances, and community relations. Prior to that she served as Director of Marketing & Community Relations for Family Central, a major South Florida nonprofit supporting at-risk children and families. In that role, she wore many hats – from donor engagement and fundraising to training, events, and broad community outreach – driving impact across the organization.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from High Point University in North Carolina. She currently resides in the Raleigh, NC area. In her spare time, she enjoys travel and hands-on support of local animal rescue and welfare programs.
