Roxana has over 25 years’ experience in the energy industry, including LNG, downstream, upstream, and heavy oil. Her expertise is in managing complex ventures, optimizing multi-billion-dollar capital projects, and driving top-quartile asset performance. Roxana is skilled in joint venture governance, stakeholder relations, and leading large, multi-disciplinary teams; proven to deliver transformational change, enhance value, and foster global collaboration. During her last role, she was Shell’s JV Asset Manager at LNG Canada in Calgary. In that capacity she represented Shell’s interest in leading the project execution and asset start-up of the largest industrial energy project in the Canadian history and managed complex relationships with the JV Asian participants.
Prior to this, she served as General Manager, Gorgon LNG Venture serving as shareholder representative to drive top quartile asset performance and business opportunity manager (BOM) for key flagship projects in capital development portfolio.
While working at Shell, Roxana filled the roles as VP, Integrated GAS-HCM & VP Elba LNG (Netherlands, Houston); VP, Hydrocarbon Resource Management (Shell Eastern Petroleum, Singapore); Production and Business and Logistics Manager (Shell, Scotford Expansion Upgrader, Canada).
Earlier in her career at Shell, she filled Business Manager & Analyst and Engineering Roles (Shell, Calgary, Canada).
Roxana received her MBA, University of Calgary – Top of Class and BSc, Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Calgary – With Distinction. She was featured in Antony Rose’s book “How to get, grow, succeed in your Dream Job.”
She is a Champion for diversity & inclusion, recognized in industry publications and fluent in English, French, and Romanian, achieving operational excellence across North America, Australia, Asia, and Europe. She volunteers with Canada Mental Health Association, SOS Children’s Villages Canada & International.
