Prior to joining Pilko & Associates in 2019, Roy gained an expansive business experience in the petrochemical industry while working at Chevron Phillips. He began his career with Gulf Oil Chemicals in operations, primarily Olefins, Alpha Olefins and Plastics production.

Roy also has an extensive EHSS background serving as an EHSS, PSM and Operational Excellence Specialist in the plant and project team environment. He has mentored over a dozen companies in EHS Management system implementation, in addition to performing over eighteen onsite assessments of US industries including NASA, steel mills, refineries, and petrochemical facilities as an OSHA SGE.

Based in Houston, TX, Roy specializes in Operational Readiness and Operational Excellence in major capital projects. His project experience has been in operations, safety, commissioning, startup, project management and most recently in coordinating Operational Readiness for a $6B US Gulf Coast based petrochemical project.
