Tanguy Appert joins Pilko with 30+ years of experience in the Chemical Industry. He held senior leadership roles in production operations, manufacturing strategy to execution (roadmap, blueprint design, M&A post-merger), continuous improvement (Digital, Lean, Six Sigma), and supply chain at Rhodia, Rohm & Haas and Dow.

He oversaw transformation programs at multiple sites, including developing and deploying Rohm & Haas manufacturing blueprint. He contributed to post-merger integrations of EMEA Rohm & Haas sites and UK Dow Corning site into Dow, aligning organizational structures and processes to achieve manufacturing synergies. He managed global change initiatives, consolidating over 100 production sites into 18 regional hubs to reduce costs. As EMEA Supply Chain Director, he partnered with commercial and manufacturing teams to centralize services and to direct an ERP migration to enhance order-to-cash efficiency and customer experience. As Manufacturing Improvement Leader, he drove a competitiveness program focused on digital manufacturing, and productivity gains.

Tanguy Appert led cross-functional teams and collaborated with stakeholders across different geographies and businesses, achieving results through organizational, technology, digital, process, systems, and behaviors changes. He combines strategy, execution, and innovation, to help clients achieve operational excellence and transformation.

Tanguy Appert earned master’s degrees in chemical engineering from the Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles de Paris, and in Refinery & Petrochemistry from the Ecole National Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs (IFP). He is passionate about sports and enjoys running, biking, skiing, and sailing.
