Terrance Kutryk

Terrance joined Pilko in 2017, bringing with him 35 years of proven achievement across energy sectors as a strategically focused, results-oriented executive with a passion for operational excellence and risk management.

He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Pipeline Ltd. from 2012 to 2017 and previously Husky Energy’s Senior Vice President of Midstream and Refined Products where he was responsible for Husky’s global commodity marketing, logistics and trading, storage, refining and upgrading business, pipelines, cogeneration, retail and wholesale operations, asphalt marketing, product supply and distribution and new ventures.

He has served on the Alberta Natural Gas Advisory Panel and was Board Chair for Sultran Ltd., Pacific Coast Terminals Company Ltd. and the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association.  In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the CFA Institute, the Calgary Society of Financial Analysts and the Institute of Corporate Directors.  In addition to his consulting work Mr. Kutryk sits on the boards of the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission, Athabasca Minerals, Unit Electrical Engineering and VantEdge O&G and the advisory boards for Crux Operations Control Management, WaterSmart Solutions, the University of Calgary’s Haskayne Centre for Advanced Supply Chain Management & Logistics and the Schulich School of Engineering Industry Advisory Council.

Mr. Kutryk has Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Calgary and a Petroleum Land Management certificate from Mount Royal University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds designations from the Investment Dealers Association of Canada.
